The UBT plays a game of what could also be called "Elimination Blackjack", which borrows a few elements from the world of tournament poker and makes the game of blackjack more competitive where it used to be a very solitary pursuit.
In the short answer, UB or Elimination Blackjack is the blackjack game you know and love with a few twists. Using something called a "secret bet" combined with specific "elimination hands," players can outlast one another as their competition gets knocked out of the event by having too few chips left in front of them. The eventual winner is the last player standing with chips (similar to a freezout style poker tournament) and players earn prize money based on how well they finished.
