If you think the Three Stooges are funny and are genetically capable of growing hair on the back, you are either a male of the Homo sapiens species or quite possibly Janet Reno. Regardless of which of these heading you fall under, chances are you have more than once found yourself ogling model/actress Leeann Tweeden.
Born in Manassas, VA (the place where the Union army took a pair of spankings from the Confederate General, Lee) Leeann was a standout in the academic arena. She graduated from Osbourn Park High School while she was still barely old enough to drive. Having the type of brain that most people associate with Death Ray obssessed mad scientists and Bill Gates, Leeann was given the opportunity to enter Harvard while she was still 17. A life of intellectual snobbery was not what she craved though. Leeann's dream was to be a model.
The early part of her modeling career was not easy. She got her start where most aspiring models find themselves: she served as a waitress at Hooters. In 1992 Leeann traded her orange shorts and owl tee-shirt for a bikini, and competed in the Venus International Model Search. To the surprise of nobody, she won first prize. This was the first step of what has turned out to be a very impressive career. Over the past few years she has appeared in countless photo spreads as well as a number of television shows.
Leeann has never been short of media attention, but she got the attention of a national audience when she was the co-host for the The Best Damn Sports Show Ever. Currently Ms. Tweeden has parlayed her success on BDSSE, as well as her love of casino gambling, into a job as one of the hosts of Mansionpoker.net's Poker Dome Challenge.
Leeann's other passion is her duties with the USO. She often goes overseas to entertain the American troops. In the minds of many, this makes Tweeden officially America's Sweetheart. |
