When somebody takes the time to actually put the word "Terrible" in the name of their product, you deserve what you get for taking a risk with it. Usually the name says it all. That is not quite the case when it comes to Terrible's hotel and casino.
Terrible's is to the Luxor or MGM what Motel 6 is to the Ritz Carlton. It is affordable, middle class, and quite pleasant in its own way. It is very charming, but not awe inspiring like its higher priced, corporate cousins.
The hotel, as well as each of the room are designed and decorated in a warm and comfortable Tuscan style. When you visit Terrible's you can expect to find in your room a television, movies, video games, and Internet access. The rooms are comfortably furnished with one king or two queen beds (upon availabilty at check-in). For those who are making the trip to Vegas a family affair, children's cribs are available for the little ones. Terrible's also provides multilingual staff, luggage storage, valet and self parking, safety deposit boxes, express check in and check out, wake up calls, and currency exchange.
Tradition is what comes to mind when you enter the casino at Terrible's. The table games, such as Roulette, poke, blackjack and craps, are like old friends that you have spent a lifetime with. They also offer a wide variety of video poker and slot machines, along with race and sports book. They are conveniently located within minutes of the Hard Rock hotel and other such facilities if your gaming needs go beyond what they have to offer. |
